I’ve always carried a notebook. Not because I’m especially organized, but because I’ve learned that the good ideas tend to show up when there’s nowhere convenient to write them down.
The fellows at Woolly Made solved that problem with a proper leather cover sized for a Field Notes notebook. It slips easily into a jacket pocket or pack, keeps the notebook from getting chewed up, and gets better-looking the more miles you put on it.
When the notebook is full, you swap in a fresh one and keep the leather. The scratches, dark spots, and worn edges stay behind as a record of everywhere it’s been.
